109. Orangutan heals his wound with HERBS...

Updated: Aug 27

This Orangutang, in Indonesia, healed a facial wound with herbs.

How did he know!!!???? Most likely from his mom. Orangutans are primates, our cousins, and like Humans, they learn many survival skills from their mother. In this case, his mom learned from her mom and so on until millennia of herbal knowledge passes down generationally.

Rakus the Orangutan applied Yellow Root Plant repeatedly to his face. This contains antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antioxidant properties. In 5 days the wound was closed.

This is how humans learned too. Millennia of trial and error. The longest clinical trials ever. Herbs contain medicinal properties. Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know but it’s where 70% of our biomedicine comes from.

Humans, and ... other primates have been using them for millennia.

Spiral Herbal Remedies was founded by Former Registered Nurse and Clinical Herbalist Donna Troy Cleary, who descends from two Hereditary Herbalism Families, dating back to 12th century Ireland.

Check out this video of Rakus during this time.

Before these families there were the Druids, the healers, wisdom keepers, lawyers, and religious leaders of the ancient Celts. The Romans systematically killed off the Druids in continental Europe and England in a familiar tradition of attempting to erase culture as a means for controlling people.

It is thought that St Patrick orchestrated the death of the Irish Druids while converting Ireland to Christianity. It follows that the Hereditary Herbalism Families in Ireland successfully carried the knowledge of Druids forward through their practices.
